Howdy! I'm Bennett Handler. Welcome to my website. From my early interest in public speaking, I joined the YMCA Youth and Government program, passing two proposals at the Texas State Capitol. In high school, I ran triathlons, completed a Half-Ironman, and qualified twice for the USA National Age Group Team. I became an Eagle Scout by creating benches and a patio for a second-chance school. During my junior year, a friend and I created Ogen Filters, a water filtration product, earning a grant from the University of North Texas. We presented at Earth X 2020 and collaborated with Dallas's EEI Program on educational material about water conservation. After graduating from Highland Park High School in 2021, I joined Texas A&M's competitive rock climbing team, became captain/treasurer, and led our team to Nationals. I now train in Jiu-Jitsu, where I've earned first and second place in competitions. My future goals are to find and write about new wonders, experience life's beauty, and lead a joyful and adventurous life!
